When Pablo Francisco hits the stage, he immediately brings his audiences to their feet with boisterous laughter and applause. He weaves together his arsenal of characters, spontaneous outbursts, and clever insights to create a stand-up show that more resembles an hour-long comedic jazz riff. He is an off-the-wall, animated character that points out the absurdity in an illogical, pop-culture obsessed world.
It is not uncommon to sense the anticipation of Pablo's audience as his fans await their favorite impressions, while being surprised by his unpredictable transformations. Pablo's impressions are so spot on that if your eyes were closed you'd be hard pressed to tell it wasn't Arnold, Jackie, or Jerry up on stage.
Francisco is back in Australia in 2010 to follow up on his sell out runs at both the Sydney and Melbourne Comedy Festivals and to make his Brisbane debut.
Francisco is one of the internet's most viral comics. His enormous popularity has driven his MySpace Comedy page into the top 25 out of 33,000, placing Pablo's page in the top three most visited on the site. His You Tube videos have hooked over 40 million views and he has over 55,000 fans on Facebook.
Not just a viral phenomenon, Francisco has released multiple comedy albums, appeared on MADtv, Family Guy, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and has had his own Comedy Central Special. He is currently building his new one hour Comedy Central special to be filmed next year. Francisco recently contributed self-produced content to digital campaigns for Nokia, Absolut and Rhapsody.
